Open Question: Is there any way to keep a tragus from rejecting the second time around?

I had my tragus pierced about 6 years ago and had a heck of a time with it even though I took care of it properly. I would get those little lovely bumps next to the piercing and it would never heal. When I went to the original piercer to have it removed he squeezed a bunch of coagulated blood out of it and the entire area around my ear swelled up and he told me my body may just not take piercings well, however I have three in each lobe, my nostril done, and my tongue and never had a problem with any of those. When it was pierced they used a hoop, and now I've heard it's better to pierce a tragus with a curved or straight barbel. Since it's been a few years, do you think it's possible to get it repierced with a different type of jewelry and not have it reject?

Open Question: Stretching earlobe help?

Okay, I've had my ears pierced for more than 5 years. About 6 months ago i've stretched my ear to 1.6mm because my friend gave me really pretty earring and it was 1.6mm. I was wearing it for most of the time until friday. I decided i will stretch my earlobe to 8mm (0g). I borrowed friend's old 1.6mm expander and it went in perfectly, it didn't hurt etc. (because of the earring i was wearing, but i just wanted to make sure it was really stretched to 1.6mm). Then i went to our local piercing shop and i wanted to buy 2.5mm expander but they didn't have smaller than 3mm (and they wouldn't get them for another 2 weeks). I really didn't want to wait so i bought 3mm expander. I've put it about a half in and left it over night. Then i've put it all the way in today. There is absolutely no blood, but it is burning a bit and it's kinda swollen. Is this normal or did i messed it up? Also a dumb newbie question: should i take expander out and clean earlobe and jewelry for the first few days? I know i have to do this later, but i really don't feel comfortable putting it out so soon after stretching.

Open Question: Can i be a scene girl?

So, thing is... I've been wanting to be "scene" for quite a while. Im almost 14. I really like the scene style and all that stuff. I have the clothes, the make-up, the attitude (not very important) and jewelry but there's one problem... my hair <:x See, in my private school, if i dye my hair a non-natural colour (like pink or red flash), i could get immediately expelled! And i'm a brunette btw. Is there a way i could style my hair in a scene way without adding neon colors? Thanks :D -No negative comments please!-

Open Question: Why does my mother copy everything I do?

I am 23 years old, my mother is 49. At a very young age, I began to notice my mother copying little things I did, especially when I hit my preteen years. It really hit me when she took me to the store to buy sandals for summer, only to find a week later, she bought the same exact ones for herself! Over the years, this behavior got worse. My boyfriend would buy me jewelry from my favorite store - when she noticed it, she would "Ooh" and "Ahhh" over it, and finally started buying and wearing jewelry EXCLUSIVELY from that store. Every time she saw me wearing a new piece of jewelry, she would go out and buy 3 more pieces. Now, that jewelry has become who she is, and she has more of it than I could ever hope to have. My parents have been married for 33 years, and they have hit a financial rut when the economy took a dump. They agreed to cut spending and save up cash for a house. However, every time my boyfriend and I take a trip....my mother wants to take a trip. Every time I bought a new phone, my mother had to have a new one. I get a new purse, my mom gets a strikingly similar one. She has been overweight for years, then got gastric bypass surgery 2 years ago. She REFUSED to go to the gym to tone up for 2 years. But as soon as my boyfriend and I made weight lifting a regular hobby, she informs me she bought a gym membership and goes consistently 3-4 times a week, and has a personal trainer? My car was recently STOLEN, and I am waiting on the insurance money to get a new one. Now, my mother won't shut up about buying a new car for herself!! Her incessant need to copy me is keeping them in a financial rut they will never get out of. Why does she feel the need to copy everything I do? At first I thought it was my being immature and wanting everything for myself. But as I matured and grew up, I still feel the same way. It's sad, really. Why does she do this? Do you have any advice on how to handle her? I have approached her before about it, but she gets defensive and says, "OH my god, like other people can't like the same things you do?! Give me a break I'm not COPYING you." ...It's so petty, I know, but it's driving me crazy!! What should I do?

My girlfriend and i got into an arguement because broke her necklace by accident(i tried to get it fixed and offered to get it fixed or changed in a nearby jewellery store) and she said she needed some air to breathe and she ignored me for one month. She neither called or texted me. And she never picked my calls or replied to my texts for one whole month. Now she called yesterday and said that she has had enough space and wants to see me. But she has to totally ignored and cut off contact with me for so long. I have moved on and two days ago i made friends with a girl who was really nice and polite. What to do?

Open Question: What to get mom for her birthday ?

My mom isn't like others . She doesn't like jewelry, kitchen utensils, or anything like that. I tried the nail salon but she said she didn't want her nails done .
